While expectations of educators rise, so does the
knowledge base upon which we build our craft. Scientific
research makes it clear that the body and brain work
as partners in the learning process. Knowing more
about learning than at any other time in human history,
we acknowledge that we truly do live in an exciting
time. So, you've made the commitment to implement
bodybrain-compatible learning using ITI. The first
steps are to
-
make certain that you share a common language
and vision of what that commitment means for your
school and/or district, and
-
have specific strategies for implementing Stage
1 of the ITI Stages of Implementation.
During the three days you spend together with an
associate, you'll establish a common understanding
of how ITI helps you reach school and district goals
as you build the sense of community to support forward
progress. You'll gain the ability to articulate why
you are doing what you are doing as it relates to
the research about bodybrain-compatible learning.
You'll leave with an action plan for getting started.
