Susan Kovalik & Associates Background

In 1984, Susan Kovalik formed a company to help educators
apply brain research findings using
her ITI model. Since that time, Susan Kovalik &
Associates, Inc. (SK&A) has grown to include twelve
full-time and over 100 part-time trainers who provide
model teaching weeks, workshops, institutes, and seminars
throughout the United States and around the world.
Active states include South Carolina, Arizona, Florida,
California, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Michigan. Districts
in over thirty states are currently involved in ITI
implementation and the list is growing. Trainings are
expanding rapidly as awareness of the significance of
the brain research findings grows. To date, educators
and support staff in over 300 school districts have
participated in learning about the ITI model.
