This year's SEE Conference (formerly known as The Best of the Best Invitational) is open to all educators and administrators. Some highlights include a visitation to a K-12 district using the Highly Effective Teaching (HET) Model. Participants receive the most current and updated information on brain-compatible learning with our guest speaker, Thomas Armstrong, followed by breakout sessions with master HET associates. Conference includes school visitations and showcase of model schools.

Neuroscience and the Teaching of Science: A Perfect Match. The Pacific Northwest Brain Conference features nationally recognized leaders and respected authors in the fields of learning and performance. Dr. Eric Chudler, a neuroscientist with the University of Washington, opens this event with his deep knowledge of the most recent findings in brain reserach and offers multiple ways to engage students to think about the power of our brains. Master HET Associate, Linda Jordan, offers her expertise on day two, and dynamic speaker and founder, Susan Kovalik, presents on the final day. Resource materials are included that offer insight into powerful new learning opportunities that foster student development, embed standards, and raise achievement levels.

Highly Effective Teaching Summer Institute

This national 3-day training conference is the annual training event for the Highly Effective Teaching program. Held at the beautiful Granlibakken Resort near Lake Tahoe, California, this event offers three days of highly interactive sessions designed to build the skills necessary to meet the challenges and requirements of today's rigorous standards. Focus strands will include secondary implementations as well as curriculum mapping and development.
